The symbolic purpose of Lotus Light Offering:
Lotus Flower grows in the deep mud, far away from the sun. Sooner or later, the Lotus reaches the sun light and TRANSFORMS into the most beautiful flower ever.
The Lotus flower is HIGHLY regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration, rebirth and the ultimate process to reach the state of divinity in life.
Light represents wisdom, it eliminates darkness and illuminates life. In a deeper sense, it represents ENLIGHTENING oneself and illuminating others.
